Husky Hustle

Welcome to the 2026 Husky Hustle. 

Please find the maps below to help you make your visit to Hickory Center enjoyable.  Please note, fans, do not park on the course along either of the main roads. The course is very close to the road and your car will block the path of runners.  Limited parking can be found on the west side of Hickory Center.  Overflow parking can be found at Carroll high school. 

18th Annual Husky Hustle XC Race:

  • Early Registration closes Friday September 11th at 11:59pm.

  • Pay by Cheddar Up! (click or scan)Hustle Cheddar Up

  • Late registration is $20 Cash, Check (made payable to Hickory Center PTO) or Credit Card and will be available until 5:15pm on race day. 
  • We encourage NO runners younger than 3rd grade participate in our race due to the difficulty of the course. (If you have a younger runner who has competed in previous races, please feel free to sign them up. We will not hold the 4th grade race for younger runners to complete the course.)
  • Runners need to meet with their teams as instructed by the coach prior to the meet in the team meeting area on the map 
  • Race Schedule is as follows:
  • 5:30pm: 3rd Grade Race (boys and girls)
  • 4th Grade Race Immediately following end of 3rd grade race (boys and girls)
  • 5th Grade Race Immediately following end of 4th grade race (boys and girls)
  • Awards will follow the 5th grade race at the Hickory Center Tent
    • 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place runners earn trophies for each grade, boys and girls
    • Medals to 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th place runners for each grade, boys, and girls
    • Ribbons to 11th thru 25th place runners for each grade, boys, and girls
    • Overall top 3 teams earn trophies for each grade, boys and girls
  • Race will be held rain or shine.  If there is lightning, we will plan accordingly.
  • If you have any questions or concerns for race day, please contact your coach or stop at the Hickory Center Tent.
